About Us

Our Story

The Association for Integrated Development (AID Pakistan) is a progressive, non-governmental, and non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development and social transformation in marginalized communities. Initially established as the Thar Education Foundation (TEF) to address educational disparities in remote regions, AID Pakistan has evolved into a multi-sectoral organization committed to education, health, environmental sustainability, livelihoods, and social welfare.

AID Pakistan established its first community school in Taluka Headquarter Kaloi of District Tharparkar, one of the most backward and drought-affected desert regions of Pakistan. In this area, access to education is severely limited, particularly for girls beyond primary school. The school currently provides quality education to over 600 students, with 60% being girls, marking a significant step in bridging the gender gap in education.

To further promote literacy, AID Pakistan also established its first community library in Taluka Headquarter Kaloi, offering essential educational resources to students and the wider community in an area where books and learning materials are scarce.

Beyond education, AID Pakistan actively contributes to community awareness and advocacy, organizing awareness rallies, seminars, and the “Every Child in School” campaign across various towns and cities in Sindh, collaborating with the Government of Sindh to boost school enrollments.

AID Pakistan has also been setting up Skill Development Centers in Kaloi, Tharparkar, Umerkot City, Tando Jam City, and Hyderabad. These centers aim to equip youth and women with technical and vocational skills, enabling them to pursue economic opportunities and achieve financial independence.

To address the water crisis, AID Pakistan has successfully installed 100 hand pumps in Hyderabad District, ensuring access to safe drinking water for poor communities that previously struggled with water scarcity.

With a headquarters in Hyderabad, Sindh, AID Pakistan strategically enhances its outreach and operational efficiency, ensuring impactful and lasting community engagement.

Leading with Purpose: A Message from Our CEO

Dear Visitors, Friends, and Partners,

At the heart of every community lies the hope for a better tomorrow. That hope is what sparked the creation of AID Pakistan — the Association for Integrated Development. What began as a humble initiative to bridge the education gap in Tharparkar has now evolved into a powerful movement for equity, empowerment, and sustainable development.

From the moment we opened the doors of our first community school in Kaloi — a region long overlooked and underserved — we knew this was more than just a project. It was a promise. A promise to stand beside the most marginalized. A promise to invest in the potential of our youth, especially our girls. A promise to ensure that access to knowledge, clean water, health, and opportunity would no longer be a matter of privilege.

Today, AID Pakistan operates across multiple sectors — from education and WASH to livelihoods and environmental sustainability — guided by a simple yet profound belief: every person, regardless of their background, deserves a fair chance to grow, contribute, and lead.

Our mission is not just about delivering services; it’s about nurturing dignity, resilience, and agency within communities. Whether it’s installing hand pumps in drought-prone areas, running skill development centers, or mobilizing communities through campaigns like Every Child in School, every step we take is rooted in the values of inclusion, transparency, sustainability, and collaboration.

This journey wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated team, community members, government partners, and civil society allies. Together, we are not just changing lives — we are shaping futures.

As we move forward, we remain committed to building a more just, informed, and compassionate society — where development is not delivered to communities, but built with them.

Thank you for being a part of our story.

With gratitude and hope,

Asher Jibran Abbasi

Chief Executive Officer
